To My Classmates:

I see us as a family. A family that is scattered across the country and beyond, yet bonded together by the formative years of our adolescence. As in any large family we have gone our separate ways in pursuing our own lives and destinies.
Let us reunite NOW as a sharing and caring family. Supporting each other as we reconnect to our roots. Your participation is critical in making this happen. The family is counting on YOU!

Advisory Board
Still Looking!!!

Are you innovative, fun loving, dedicated, person-able, and committed to seeing our web site be successful. Then I would like you to consider becoming a member of our advisory board. I am looking for two individuals to help me plan the future of our web site and encourage our classmates to participate. If you are interested in this challenge, please email me.

Tom Newell inducted into the LNHS Athletic Hall of Fame on Feb 9th.

The Rocket football teams of 1962-1964 allowed an average of less than five points per game and had 14 shutouts in the 27 games they played during those years.  That is the kind of trivia you can learn about Rocket athletics as you visit with Tom. Tom became an avid Northeast fan as a 9th grader in 1961. He attended almost every contest while in high school, despite having to depend on rides from his dad a riding the bus. (continued)

Tom Newell (Cont.)

The only active role he took in high school was to help Claire Fredstrom with the intramural program.  Later he was the scorekeeper for AAA softball games at Ballard.  But his passion for watching the Rockets never waned.  He worked for Fairmont Foods from 1966-1979 and Meadow Gold from 1979-2005.  Tom lives with his mother, Ardeen, and two dogs and a cat in northeast Lincoln.

Hey, Go Tom!
